The April 2008 Court Reports, which include papered arrests, have been posted at the US Department of Justice (DOJ) website at www.usdoj.gov.
These reports contain a Summary of Recent Court Cases, a detailed description of these cases and the District Court Cases. These reports also contain a list of all "Papered Arrests", which contains details on the arrests and charges filed against adult defendants in each police district by month. These reports were compiled by the Community Prosecution Section of the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Some notes:
a) The April 2008 Fifth District Court Report doesn't appear to have any court items that include addresses in the neighborhood, which is usually the case. So all of the action is in the papered arrests section of the report.
b) Eckington is part of PSA 501, so when you read the court report & papered arrests, look for incidents in PSA 501. You will see an number of incidents in and around Eckington.

__12 Florida Avenue NE, 4/11/2008, 17:42: Julien T. Gaffney was arrested. Arrest charge = Assault on Member of Police or Fire Department. Papered lead charge = Possession With Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. PSA 501.
__Florida and Eckington Place NE, 4/11/2008, 20:35: David W. Young was arrested. Arrest charge = Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Papered lead charge = Possession of a Controlled Substance-Misdemeanor. PSA 501.
__200 block of Harry Thomas Way NE, 4/17/2008, 17:45: Eugene Ewing of 205 P Street NW was arrested. Arrest charge = Theft from Auto II. Papered lead charge = Destruction of Property Less Than $200. PSA 501.
__1609 Lincoln Road NE, 4/23/2008, 18:18: Alton Wimberly was arrested. Arrest charge = Distribution of Cocaine. Papered lead charge = Distribution of a Controlled Substance. PSA 501.
